Cox Green is a well-established co-educational Academy school, situated in the heart of the community of Cox Green, Maidenhead.
Our students thrive in an environment committed to achievement, supported by our team of excellent teachers and pastoral staff. We are oversubscribed year on year, testimony to the quality of teaching and learning we provide.
Students enjoy a varied range of extra-curricular activities including Sport, Music, Drama, Languages and trips and we have been graded as “good” by Ofsted.
We feel extremely proud to have been awarded funding of £4.7 million from our Borough; work began in July 2017 and includes new Science Laboratories, classrooms, changing facilities and cafeteria.
As one of the top performing schools in the area we take pride in getting the most out of each of our students. Last year 80% of our GCSE students achieved 5+ A*-C including English and Maths.
Maidenhead is situated in the heart of the commuter belt and benefits from excellent road and rail links. The town itself is undergoing regeneration, and the opening of Crossrail in 2018 only adds to its appeal. We also boast some of the most beautiful countryside in Berkshire with the River Thames running directly through the town.
Cox Green School also takes a leading role in the Teach Maidenhead programme, the region's teacher training provider.
