The Governing Body are keen to appoint a highly proficient and enthusiastic Admin Officer to support the Business Manager within our Special School setting. This is an opportunity for the right person to grow within the role and be part of new and exciting challenges with the build of a new school for 2025.

The school has currently undergone staffing changes and this new post is required to provide admin support to the Headteacher, SLT and Business Manager on a daily basis. This will be the only admin role in the school apart from the Business Manager.

The school has a Satellite Provision based in Ystradgynlais as well as the main school based in Newtown and the Business Manager will be based predominately in Ystradgynlais for 4 days a week with 1 day a week in the main school, so the need for a skilled Admin Officer who has had previous experience of working in an education setting would be desirable.

Experience of working with i-Trent; Authority Financials, Teacher Centre would be advantageous but not necessary as we can offer training as required, this will be a full-time post for 41 weeks per year.
