Sir Thomas Fremantle School is looking for an experienced professional, highly organised and meticulous in their approach. The role is to support the head teacher and academy board trust to fulfil their duties and ensure the school is able to focus on amazing outcomes for our students.  


You will be extremely personable and able to work in with all stake holders. At times the role will be working in a time sensitive or highly pressured environment . You will understand your role is to ensure the headteacher’s workload is managed well in order they can focus on developing a great school.


Academy Trusts require significant high-level administration of policies, statutory documents and ensuring the academy is compliant with its statutory duties.  The role requires excellent organisational skills, high level of IT competence, attention for accuracy and detail, ability to communicate with key stake holders and government offices. The role is requires someone who is highly professional and confidential.


The role Is a key link between the Board and the school leadership team ensuring policy is tabled at both SLT and FGB in line with the annual cycle of reviews.  The role supports the school with the administration of significant financial documents. In addition, the role will support the school business manager to assist the administration for recruitment and HR.


The role enables leaders to focus on school strategy, raising standards of achievement and provides assurances that the school is compliant with statutory bodies. It ensures leadership teams are adequately prepared for external and internal reviews. It ensures website compliance, implementing the complaints procedures, handling SARs and supporting the administration between DfE and ESFA is successful.


Sir Thomas Fremantle is set in North Buckinghamshire for 11-16 year olds serving the local community. The school is in easy reach of Milton Keynes and Aylesbury. We benefit from great facilities – the school building was only opened in 2017.
