Pre-school Manager

Contract type:       Part time, term time only, 35 hours per week Monday to Friday

Contract term:       Permanent

Salary:                  Grade 12, points 12 – 19, depending on experience

(pro rata, based on a Full Time Equivalent salary range of £26,421 - £29,777)

Pre-school Manager

The Directors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Pre-school Manager to lead our team of dedicated staff in our growing pre-school, set in the heart of rural Somerset.

You will:

• Provide professional leadership and management of the setting and effectively manage the day-to-day running of the setting
• Provide high quality, flexible childcare for families from the local communities.
• Be flexible and innovative in promoting the development, welfare and potential of children, in line with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Be a strong communicator which enables you to build successful working relationships with families to ensure the continued success of our pre-school, ensuring the happiness of the children.
• Have a positive and willing attitude and the ability to engage in continued improvements within the pre-school moving forward.
• Work alongside the Early Years team within the school to ensure the very best provision for the children across the setting.
• Have overall responsibility for child protection and safeguarding duties within the setting.
