Job description

We are seeking a qualified Food Technology teacher who could offer Food technology and another subject- Art or Textiles, to join our new team and be part of an amazing school community.

You will have:

·        A sound knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and a wide range of qualifications

·        Familiarity with Standardised Attainment Tests

·        Understanding of and commitment to the school policies, in particular:

·        Participation and implementation of the School Behaviour Policy

·        Awareness of Health and Safety implementation in the work place

·        Implementation of the school Equal Opportunities Policy

·        Knowledge of effective strategies to include, and meet the needs of, all pupils in particular underachieving groups of pupils.

It is very important that any Teacher applying understands that this role requires a formal teaching qualification that is recognised in the UK.
