We currently have three schools in our Trust: Woolwich Polytechnic School for Boys, a long-successful boys’ school, Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls that opened in 2019, and Bannockburn Primary School, a large successful primary that joined the Trust on 1st November 2023. We also have our flourishing Sixth Form provision which is co-educational. Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls are looking for an experienced School Business Manager (SBM) with significant experience in leadership and management, ideally in an education or business setting.

 The School Business Manager plays a vital role in the leadership of our school and works as a key member of the senior leadership team with overall responsibility for all support staff in the school.  You will lead a team to deliver the administrative function of the school and for ensuring all support services are functioning effectively and efficiently (Finance, HR, GDPR, Health and Safety, site, grounds, cleaning, catering, admin, reception) to provide the best school environment for our students and staff.

The SBM will report to the Headteacher and will be expected to establish a culture that promotes excellence, equality and high expectations of all. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills in working with all stakeholders to provide professional leadership, vision and direction for Woolwich Polytechnic School for Girls.
