School Receptionist/Secretary

We are an independent co-educational Prep school in Buckinghamshire and are seeking a School Receptionist/Secretary, who will assist with the school’s reception/office, commencing 1st September 2024.  This role will also provide the main first aid provision in the absence of the School Nurse.  An up-to-date first aid qualification is not required as training will be provided, but previous experience and a keen interest in this is desirable.

This role is term time only plus 15 days during the holidays as directed by the School. The hours are 10.00am to 6.00pm.  Salary will be dependent on experience.

With extremely high standards at Chesham Prep, the successful candidate will be personable and a true team player, with strong communication and organisational skills. They will be able to manage the pupil database, liaise effectively with parents and play an important role in the administration and organisation of the School. They will require strong IT skills and will need experience of working with contact management databases.  A copy of the full job description and an application form are available on our website, www.cheshamprep.co.uk.
