Job overview
Job Share - 2 days per week
Required from late August 2024
Would you relish the chance to be first point of contact at our busy, thriving school set in beautiful surroundings on Minchinhampton Common?
Beaudesert Park is a leading independent prep school for pupils aged 3 - 13 and we now have an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, skilled administrator to join us two days per week as School Secretary. This is a busy and varied role and in addition to acting as Receptionist, the postholder will provide general administrative support across the school as part of the School Office team.
The successful candidate will be highly proactive with the ability to effectively manage and prioritise their workload. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and will be confident using IT packages particularly Word, Outlook and ideally, school specific databases.
The role is part of a job share, working from 8.00am to 6.00pm on Mondays and Tuesdays during term time (33 weeks per year) along with one or two Saturday mornings each term. Whilst the position is all year round, working hours are substantially reduced during school holidays to around 5 per day according to demand.
There is a generous holiday and benefits package on offer including the provision of a free lunch each day during term time, a contributory pension scheme and free access to the swimming pool and tennis courts at specified times.
The closing date for applications is Monday 10th June at midday. Interviews will be held in the week commencing 17th June.
