This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding practitioner, with a highly successful track record of raising achievement, to drive further improvement in teaching, learning and curriculum development across GLF’s seven secondary schools.

The role will involve working with our Schools’ Performance Director, and our team of Learning and Teaching Leads to build upon our success. Our Learning and Teaching Leads currently spend part of their week teaching in one of our schools and the other developing best practice in their subject across the trust.

You will be spending part of your week as a Deputy Headteacher in a designated school. The rest of your time will involve leading the strategic development of teaching, learning and curriculum across our schools, to ensure that we continue to be at the forefront of best practice. You will need to be innovative, flexible and tenacious in your pursuit of excellence.

GLF Schools is a high performing academy trust with twenty-one primary and seven secondary schools. This is an exciting time to join a growing and forward-looking Trust. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with committed and effective colleagues and will make a significant contribution to enabling students across our schools to excel in at key stages 3, 4 and 5.

We will provide opportunities for you to develop and progress your career, through our professional and supportive network of schools.

The Trust is based in Claygate, but the role will mostly be located within our academies.

As a values-led trust, it is important that you fit our culture of growing, learning and flourishing together as collaboration is at the heart of who we are at GLF Schools.
