Job overview

We are looking for an experienced Engineering subject trainer to join our new Adult Skills Team. You will be responsible for managing training programs for adults, developing short, targeted courses that help people get into work or upskill into greater employment opportunities.

 

Reporting to the Director of Adult Skills you can be based at Woodlands Campus: but be expected to travel and work from our other campuses at Blossomfield or Stratford-Upon-Avon Campus, as well as network with key civic and employer stakeholders across the West Midlands and Warwickshire region to develop and deliver high quality courses in skills priority areas.

 

You will collaborate closely with external referral partners and our internal marketing team to develop strategies for attracting learners to the courses as well as collaborating with employers to develop courses such as bootcamps to help businesses increase their talent pipeline and skills capabilities.

 

Candidates will have a strong understanding of adult learning principles, curriculum development, and program evaluation. In addition to this they will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience of strategic planning, budget management, and resource allocation is essential. Candidates should be educated to Level 3 or equivalent and it would be desirable to hold a teaching qualification and assessor award.
