SENDCO(Primary) - Starbank School

Starbank is a very large school which has been growing steadily since 2010. We were originally a split-site primary school and were rated outstanding when last inspected in 2012. In 2014 we became an all-through school, introducing a new secondary intake each year since September 2014. A brand new building was opened in September 2016 which can accommodate 900 secondary students in addition to 420 of our primary pupils.

We now wish to appoint another primary SENDCO as part of our large Inclusion team. Although we are a 6 form entry school, this is made up of three primary sites and we like to have a SENDCO on each site. With one of the SENDCOs now an Assistant Head and another likely to be on maternity leave we wish to add a further one to the team. You will either already have SENDCO experience or be an outstanding teacher who with training feels this is the right career move for him/her.
