Smart Teachers are recruiting for a Special Needs Support Assistant with a background of working with children with physical disabilities, this is to work in a school in Hounslow, South West London. The school joining has been described by many of our staff as a ‘treasure’ of a school which is pioneered by an exceptional Headteacher who has created and maintained a clear vision for the school and its children. The ideal Special Needs Support Assistant must have a background of working with children with physical disability in either a Mainstream or Special Needs school. This role is to start immediately until the end of the academic year.

· Special Needs Support Assistant

· Assisting a child in Year 3 with Physical needs

· The child is extremely pleasant with an excellent outlook on life and is keen to learn

· His mobility is supported by both a wheelchair and walking frame

· Intimate personal care will be required

· Daily rate from £75-£85 depending on experience

In order to be considered for this role, the successful Special Needs Support Assistant will need to meet the following criteria:

· Experience of working with children with physical disability in either a Nursery, Mainstream, Special needs setting

· Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)

· Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
