Salary: Grade 7, Points 12 - 19 of the Meridian Trust Support Staff Pay Tables (£26,421 to £29,777 full-time equivalent salary)
Actual Annual Salary: £22,762.71 to £25,654.03
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only plus 5 additional days).
We are seeking a kind, conscientious and committed to continuous improvement individual that will foster a positive and optimistic ‘can do’ attitude among students.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and pastoral support to the house leadership and promote positive behaviour of all students.
The Opportunity
- A great chance to work with a strong, fun enthusiastic team
- Support the House Office with student attendance and punctuality
- Act as first point of call for all parental enquiries and pastoral care
- Provide administrative support for the House Office
- Liaise with and provide student information for outside agencies
The Ideal Candidate
- Good administrative background with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Able to make positive relationships with young people, parents, staff and outside agencies
- Positive and enthusiastic approach with the ability to work within a team as well as on own initiative
- Knowledge of the need for confidentiality and awareness of child protection issues
- Professional approach when dealing with all issues, students and staff
