New Rickstones Academy is graded ‘Good’ (May 2018) and has a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff. Over the last 7 years the academy has seen a huge increase in student numbers, with the number of students on roll more than doubling. The academy is now oversubscribed and we have a new build which opened in September 2022 to meet increasing demand. This increase in demand is the driving force behind this exciting role becoming available as our curriculum offer grows.

New Rickstones Academy is a great place to work with a friendly and supportive staff team. Staff numbers have also increased and the academy is proud to boast high staff retention rates. Staff development is a priority with an extensive and hugely successful CPD (Continuing Professional Development) program to further develop our excellent staff. 

Every member of staff is a vital part of our committed and ambitious team and we have been very successful at developing teachers and leaders with progression both within, and beyond the academy.

We are looking for an Instructor / Teacher to join our team, we are ideally looking for a qualified teacher but will consider an unqualified teacher with significant classroom experience. This is a flexible role that provides a great opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team. You will have timetabled lessons and will also provide cover for classes in all areas of the curriculum., in the event of absence of teaching staff.
