We are looking to appoint an inspirational English/Humanities teacher to work at our SEMH school which caters for 65 students aged 10-18. You will teach classes of no more than 8 students and each class has a dedicated learning mentor. You will need to have patience, resilience and a sense of humour, but most importantly you must have the ability to harness the energy and ideas our students have and develop the artistic talents they possess.
The head teacher is very keen on meeting potential candidates and will be more than happy to discuss the role in more detail.
You will need to have a subject specialism in English or Humanities and have QTS. Experience of working with challenging students would be an advantage. Applications welcomed from primary or secondary colleagues.
