Due to the continued growth of our school we are looking to expand our team and we are seeking an excellent Teacher of English for the new academic year. We are looking for someone who wants to celebrate a range of different and representative stories from within their curriculum. We are looking for an individual who is open to new ideas, willing to experiment and who sees teaching as a reflective and ongoing discipline. At Bohunt Horsham the emphasis for students is placed on them learning words that they can use to talk, write and debate the big questions of the world. The successful candidate therefore, will be somebody who sees the potential of a curriculum as a narrative and the development of language for the curriculum as essential.

We are in our fifth year since opening, located just north of Horsham, West Sussex. We currently provide for students in years 7-11. Over the next few years we will grow to become an all-through school for 1620 students aged 4-16 with a nursery facility.
We are part of the supportive and innovative Bohunt Education Trust, a MAT with eight schools including two Sixth Forms and a boarding facility. We may be separated geographically, however, all BET schools are student centred, sharing an uncompromising belief in high achievement and unconditional positive expectations, a real sense of community and a dynamic, innovative approach to education.

About Bohunt Horsham
We are a new free school, in our sixth year since opening with students in Year R and Years 7-11 in our new building in Horsham, West Sussex. Our state-of-the-art site has been designed and built with education at the forefront and includes specialist teaching spaces and a whole school one-to-one iPad provision, as well a wide range of sports and co-curricular provision. We are leaders in outdoor education with an outdoor classroom and onsite Bushcraft, the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and Big Expeditions to wilderness locations such as Greenland, alongside a variety of other trips at home and abroad.
