We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified English graduate to join our proactive, highly motivated and supportive team. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons and achieving excellent results, instilling in all students a love for the subject and a desire to learn.
Lakelands Academy is a successful and popular 11-16 comprehensive school, consistently judged as ‘Good’ by Ofsted, who praised the ‘high ambitions for all pupils’ learning’ and our staff’s ‘good relationships with pupils’ (2022). Staff and students often describe the academy as having a ‘family feel’ because of the ethos of care and support that is extended to members of the academy’s community. Lakelands Academy serves the expanding town of Ellesmere and a rural catchment area surrounded by beautiful Shropshire landscape, often referred to as the ‘Shropshire Lake District’.
