The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our friendly and supportive Languages Department. We are looking for someone who can inspire engagement in the classroom and capture the enthusiasm pupils have for learning and teach Spanish at KS3, KS4 and KS5 with French at KS3 preferred. The successful applicant will be highly motivated to inspire pupils at all levels from ages 11-18.
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualities to join our passionate, hard-working and friendly Language Faculty:
- Suitable for ECT or Qualified Teacher Status
- A passion for excellence in the teaching of languages
- The ability to maintain and raise standards of student attainment and achievement and to monitor and support student progress
- The ability to effectively lead, manage and motivate students and the capacity to work collaboratively with colleagues;
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
- The attributes to be a strong form tutor
The post would suit an ECT or an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge.

About St Alban's Catholic High School
St Alban’s Catholic High School is a co-educational secondary school and sixth form with academy status located in Ipswich, Suffolk. It is the only Catholic High School in the Ipswich area and religious education forms part of the core curriculum.
The School premises have been improved in recent years with the addition of a new sixth form block and library and the refurbishment of some existing facilities.
