Queen's College is a highly successful British International school with a well-established programme of A level courses. Recently, we have been awarded IB World School status and we now offer both A levels and IBDP side by side. We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Music teacher who is passionate about their subject. The post will offer the successful candidate a friendly and highly supportive environment in which to work within a culture of academic success.
Teaching Specifications:
- A good honours degree in a relevant subject - essential
- A PGCE or other qualified teacher status for secondary school - essential
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a UK secondary school - essential
- A successful track record of examination results - essential
- Knowledge and understanding of English National Curriculum - essential
- Ability to also teach Drama - desirable
- Previous experience in an international school - desirable
- Right to work in the EU - desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English - essential

About Queen's College
Founded in 1977 QUEEN’S COLLEGE, is an independent, co-educational school, located on the island of Mallorca. The school which now caters for 486 children between the ages of three and eighteen years, occupies an idyllic location overlooking the Bay of Palma and nearby Bellver Castle.
Programmes of study are based on the English National curriculum with complementary studies from the Spanish curriculum for Spanish pupils and those of other nationalities who have the required level of Spanish language.
The school aims to promote effective learning in a happy, secure environment based on mutual respect, where the acquisition of knowledge, skills and personal qualities enable pupils to meet the demands of present and future society.
