We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, effective and enthusiastic specialist in RE from September 2018, to cover a maternity leave at this highly successful, over-subscribed school which is firmly established as one of the highest performing secondary schools in Staffordshire. We gained ‘Good’ in our 2014 Ofsted inspection and as part of the Local Authority’s quality assurance strategy, we have Category 1 status, which is the highest category of school performance.
We expect the successful candidate to have the necessary knowledge and skills to teach Religious Education from Year 7 – Year 11. Religious Education is a popular and successful subject and all students at this school follow the full GCSE R.E. course. We particularly welcome candidates who can offer Philosophy and Ethics at Advanced Level.
We invite applications from excellent classroom practitioners who can motivate, engage and inspire our students and work collaboratively with colleagues. Salary: Pay range between £22,916 and £38,633 pa according to the Academy Pay Policy.
