The governors of this oversubscribed 11-16 Voluntary Aided RC High School are seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Science. A specialism for Chemistry or Physics would be desirable but the candidate will be required to teach across all the Science disciplines.

St. Joseph’s is a Voluntary Aided mixed Roman Catholic High School located in Bolton and under the trusteeship of the Diocese of Salford, with approximately 890 pupils enrolled, aged 11 to 16. We are also a designated Sports College with the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust.  We were established in 1963 and will be celebrating our Golden Jubilee in 2013.

 The school has a long-standing reputation for high academic achievement, being an orderly, caring and welcoming community and provision for an extensive range of extra-curricular and out of hours activities.
