The Role

We are seeking to appoint a passionate teacher of Science to join our thriving and successful Science faculty. This position will suit both an experienced or early career teacher.

The faculty boasts recently modernised teaching rooms and offers a vast range of extra-curricular activities; including STEM and VEX which continually look to inspire students to follow a path of Science. There has never been a more exciting time to join the team. We are proud to say that our recent Ofsted inspection (Jan 24) graded our school as Good with Outstanding Leadership & Management.

 

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Be fully qualified to teach through the secondary range for Key Stages 3 & 4
  • Demonstrate an enthusiasm for the subject which will inspire student progress
  • Support the delivery of extracurricular activities fostering a joy of Science.
  • Demonstrate a capacity to design materials that are adapted and will engage students in the learning process
  • Experience of IT and a willingness to use it to plan and teach lessons

  • Qualified Teacher Status also suitable for ECTs
  • An ability to teach lessons that challenge all students
  • A passion for teaching and making a real difference to young people
