Do you want to work in a successful Learning Support Department with a supportive team, where you will be valued and appreciated, and have the opportunity to develop your career by gaining more experience as a Teaching Assistant? Do you have a passion for supporting students with a visual impairment to make progress?

No previous experience with visually impaired students is necessary, as training will be provided.

However, we seek an individual who is keen to learn about the best ways to support visually impaired students and help remove barriers to their learning. The successful candidate will be working 1:1 with a visually impaired student and will be the main point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, be responsible for preparing adapting resources and supporting other Learning Support Assistants in how to offer support.

As part of our GHS community, you will benefit from our outstanding record of learning, development and promotion opportunities, and the high value we place on our staff achieving success in their career.
