Job overview

We are looking for a number of Teaching Assistants to join our team as soon as possible. We have different contracts available, such as BANK (zero hours) to give flexibility as well as on a permanent / fixed term basis. Please specify on your application what you are interested in.


Salary FTE £24,977

BANK (zero hours) contracts will receive an additional holiday allowance on top of the hourly rate

Our school is a happy place with increasing numbers. We currently have 158 pupils in total on roll, 138 in 14 classes and 20 pupils in Post 16.We have high expectations for our pupils and are committed to collaborative working in order to achieve the best possible outcomes and to maximise their opportunities. We believe that education for our pupils is about preparation for life and feel very privileged to be able to support them to realise their potential. We believe that children who enjoy their education will engage with learning. Every child at Woodfield is unique and with the right interventions and support, all young people can achieve.

We know that students learn best here when they feel safe, valued and can adopt a 'can try' attitude. Routines understood and followed by all members of the school ensure a calm and consistent environment, alongside excellent behaviour management.
