Job overview

A rare and unique opportunity has arisen for the position of Website Development Administrator.  The position is for 37 hours per week, full-time 52 weeks with 25 days’ holiday rising to 28 days after five years’ service.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient, organised person to be responsible for developing and administrating the websites of the school and partner organisations and assisting in the managing of aspects of IT technical support development within the school.  They will also be a committed team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.  A working knowledge of SIMS.net and a school environment, policies and procedures would be a distinct advantage.

About Colchester County High School for Girls

Colchester County High School for Girls is part of Alpha Trust.  It is a selective state school for academically able students aged from 11 to 18 years which consistently achieves public examination results at the highest level and Ofsted "Outstanding".  Admission to the school is via the 11+ examination in Year 7; the school also admits academic students to the Sixth Form.  The school is lead for the North East Essex Teaching School Alliance and Colchester Teacher Training Consortium is based on the site.  Situated a mile to the west of central Colchester, the school is set in its own extensive grounds on a large, quiet campus.
