Job overview

Kingswood School in Bath is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Admissions professional to take a leadership position within our busy and successful Admissions and Marketing team. Based at Kingswood School, you will report to the Director of External Relations, acting as our first point of contact for families seeking to join the Kingswood community in Years 9-12 and for those international families joining from Year 7-12.

Ideally you are already a Registrar or Senior Admissions Manager, but for the right candidate, full training will be provided. Those with previous experience in external facing roles in sales, marketing or business management, or a role requiring exceptional organisational skills, are welcome to apply.

The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of an efficient and positive admissions journey, while building and maintaining the personal experience that families expect from Kingswood.

This is a full-time position, all year round position, and flexibility with hours is key, as attendance will be required at School Open Days and events, visits with prospective parents and pupils and agents. We will however consider candidates looking for some flexibility with regards to working hours as part of the application process.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and a supportive and exciting educational environment in which colleagues can develop and thrive.

About Kingswood Senior School

At Kingswood we hope each young person will find a love of learning and a sense of joy in their own achievement and in that of others, combined with a reasoning judgement, the courage to question assumptions, and a willingness to lead and to serve.

Education that embraces these values enriches and gives deeper meaning to life. It makes the attainment of personal goals and achievements more certain, career advancement more likely, and happiness more secure.

As the Principal of the Kingswood Foundation (and the Headmaster of its senior school) I believe the senior school and the prep school form together a very special place in which young people have the opportunity to realize their potential in a very caring and friendly community. The schools are set within a uniquely beautiful estate on the northern edge of a world heritage city and this provides a wonderful environment in which to grow up and learn.

I hope you will come and visit us and see for yourself how we seek to develop each individual's character and talents by encouraging boys and girls to reach their fullest and best in every way.
