Opened in 2013 Rutherford House School was the first free school established by Bellevue Place

Education Trust, to provide a broad, exciting education in a happy environment with a commitment to ensuring pupils achieve their full potential. The children are encouraged to learn independently, and are treated as individuals celebrating their unique set of talents.

 

At Rutherford House School our philosophy is to promote excellence and outstanding progress in the basics - literacy and numeracy, as well as sparking curiosity and instilling a lifelong love of learning and curiosity.

 

The successful candidate needs to have exceptional organisational skills, strong interpersonal skills to foster links between the school, home and wider community and be able to liaise with the senior leadership team to monitor and improve attendance. We pride ourselves on exceptional pupil attendance which reflects excellent pupil and parent engagement. Therefore, we need a candidate who can assist with maintaining this attendance. 

 

The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating our weekly newsletter, assisting with attendance and admissions. We are looking for someone who can:

 

·      Work under pressure.

·      Have excellent interpersonal skills

·      Be able to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders

·      Work effectively as part of the office team

·      Able to complete receptionist duties.

·      Communicate with parents and the Education Welfare Officer regularly

·      Contribute to our weekly newsletter to promote attendance

·      And create attendance reports to present to the Headteacher

·      Effectively use Arbor to monitor attendance
