The Pointer School is an independent Christian prep and pre-prep school in Blackheath, South East London. We are seeking an inspirational, dedicated, and passionate Assistant Pastoral Leader to join our thriving school. The successful candidate will work closely alongside our Deputy Head Pastoral to facilitate, plan, and drive forward the outstanding pastoral provision already in place.

The successful candidate will have a good degree and experience in counselling, child therapy, or pastoral provision within an educational setting.

Pastoral care is at the heart of our school ethos. We have a strong collegiate atmosphere, and the successful applicant will become a key part of this community.

This position starts in September 2024. Salary: £16-20k, depending on experience. 3 - 4 days per week.
