The States of Guernsey are looking to appointment a Assistant Principal of Quality and Innovation to join the team at The Guernsey Institute College.
The Assistant Principal of Quality and Innovation oversees strategic and operational quality across all aspects of the College's curriculum, learners, and staff. They lead the implementation of TGI College's Quality Assurance and Improvement Strategy, contributing to the overall vision and strategic plan within The Guernsey Institute (TGI). The role will lead TGI’s strategic response to the development of innovative practices to meet the requirements of the Adult Skills Plan curriculum.
The Assistant Principal of Quality and Innovation is tasked with leading strategic initiatives to improve Teaching, Learning, and Assessment practices, ensuring alignment with the institution's vision for excellence. Through effective leadership, they manage the Quality Assurance framework, coordinate quality assessments, and implement interventions for improvement where necessary. Additionally, they foster a culture of continuous improvement, providing support and guidance to staff for professional development as a key member of the College Leadership Team, the Assistant Principal plays a pivotal role in representing the institution externally and contributing to its overall success.
