Teacher Training provider. Our schools are based in North Birmingham, Tamworth, Lichfield and North Warwickshire. A further secondary school and 2 primary schools have submitted applications to join ATLP during the next 12 months.

Mere Green Primary School is looking to recruit an inspirational, passionate, and highly

Mere Green Primary School is firmly rooted in the heart of our community, providing education to a diverse cohort. Our staff and families represent the wide cultural mix of our neighbouring city of Birmingham. Our school has grown over the last 5 years, and we are now fully two form entry with a small allocation for a resource base for SLCN.

We are looking for a leader who is passionate about the development of people and is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence for every child, regardless of their background. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership across the whole school, and will work to ensure that outcomes are outstanding and that the teaching profile reflects this. We use the title ‘associate’ to reflect the strategic, supportive structure within our organisation which includes a Direction of Education and a central executive team who you will work closely with.

We are looking for an Associate Deputy Headteacher who:

  • Is an outstanding practitioner and has a proven track record of school improvement and raising attainment, which spans across several areas of the inspection framework.
  • Has a critical understanding of learning, teaching and school improvement, and using this to successfully develop others.
  • Has an up to date understanding of curriculum design and innovation and be able to lead further developments that will personalise learning for all students.
  • Has a successful track record in school leadership, with an excellent track record of leading on whole school developments and new initiatives.
  • Demonstrates high expectations of pupil achievement, behaviour and attitudes to learning
  • Can inspire, motivate and lead other
  • Is research driven to support own and others professional development Is an innovative, independent strategic thinker with vision and fresh ideas.
  • Enjoys working in partnership with parents, Governors and the local community

Mere Green Primary School is an outstanding two form, family orientated school. We are driven to 'make a difference' for all our children, through support, nurture and trust. In addition to our mainstream children, we also have 20 places for children with statements for speech, language and communication from North Birmingham, who have enhanced speech provision across the school day.
