We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, across Dudley and South Staffordshire. Wombourne High School is situated on Ounsdale Road, Wombourne and we have over 900 male and female students aged 11-18.

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Caretaker, with a flexible approach to work and a “can do” and friendly attitude to join our Site Team. The post is 25 hours per week, all year round to be worked normally within the core time of 2:00pm – 7.00pm (Monday – Friday) depending on the needs of the service. Flexibility is required to cover for holidays. The Site Manager and Caretakers are both on a rota for emergency call-outs 7 days a week.

You will need to have a;

  • Good working knowledge of Health & Safety, including Asbestos and Legionella.
  • High Level all-round maintenance ability along with excellent problem solving, time-management and customer service skills.
  • Full clean driving licence – Category D1 preferred

This role has been assessed as working in regulated activity and is subject to an Enhanced DBS plus Children’s Barred List Check.
