Job Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Organisation Overview:

Ridgeway Learning Partnership (RLP) is embarking on an exciting chapter in our journey, and we're seeking a dynamic and visionary executive leader to join us at this pivotal moment. As a relatively small Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) nestled in the thriving community of Hertfordshire, we are committed to providing exceptional education across a diverse range of primary and secondary schools, comprising both Church of England and non-denominational schools, alongside a vibrant leisure centre.

Position Overview:

As our CEO, you will play a central role in shaping the strategic direction of RLP, focusing on key areas outlined in our strategic plan such as growth, community engagement, and profile enhancement. We're looking for an individual who thrives on building partnerships, both within and outside our organization, to drive growth opportunities that benefit our students and wider community. Your blend of educational insight and business acumen will be instrumental in identifying and capitalising on opportunities, consolidating our progress and propelling us toward our ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning efforts, refining our vision and enhancing our profile with stakeholders.
  • Drive growth initiatives, both organically and through strategic acquisitions.
  • Foster partnerships and collaborations to broaden our impact and reach.
  • Champion RLP's core values of inclusivity, diversity, and integrity.
  • Cultivate a culture of wellbeing and support within the organisation, ensuring RLP is an employer of choice.
  • Collaborate with trustees, local governors, headteachers, and senior leaders to drive positive change and innovation.
  • Oversee the implementation of a comprehensive benefits package, including staff training, development, and workload management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven leadership experience in education and/or business sectors.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving growth and organisational change.
  • Commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and employee wellbeing.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and partnership development.

What we can offer:

At RLP, we prioritise the wellbeing and professional development of our team. As part of our commitment to being an employer of choice, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including staff training, development opportunities, and ongoing workload reviews. We value work-life balance and are offering this role as a part-time opportunity at 0.6FTE, allowing the right individual to balance this exciting challenge with existing commitments. If you're ready to join us in shaping the future of education and making a meaningful difference in our community, we invite you to apply for this transformative leadership role.
