We are looking for a motivated, passionate and hardworking EYFS Teacher to join us at Maple Grove Primary School. The ideal candidate will be willing to give their best for the children and keen to be developed further in their teaching practice.
The ideal candidate will have:
- An excellent knowledge and understanding of EYFS, and how this feeds into the wider primary curriculum.
- The ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a variety of teams
- A sound knowledge of safeguarding and your roles and responsibilities linked to this

Maple Grove Primary School caters for boys and girls aged between four and 11. It is a state primary situated in Pitsea, near Basildon in Essex. It is currently undergoing a public consultation on a proposed change to make the school an academy, run by the Lion Education Trust.

“Teaching is good. Lessons are well organised. Teachers make sure all pupils are challenged to learn as much as they can. In one third of lessons outstanding teaching led to the pupils making rapid progress.
“Teachers understand what pupils can do and what they need to learn. They use this information well to set targets and track how well pupils are making progress. Pupils at risk of not doing well make good, and sometimes outstanding progress because effective care and support help them to learn.”
