Job overview
Ealing Primary Centre is a highly successful Pupil Referral Unit for primary aged children with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs. We provide part time education for dually registered children, who attend the rest of the week at their mainstream school, and full time education for children who have been permanently excluded or placed here. We aim for our pupils to become confident in understanding their needs and in using strategies to manage them.
About you
We are looking for an exceptional class teacher to join our team at Ealing Primary Centre. They will have good, recent experience of working as a teacher in a mainstream or special provision and will be responsible for teaching a small class of primary aged children who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion.
The successful candidate will work in Ealing Primary Centre and support pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Difficulties. They will:
· * Be genuinely committed to working with primary aged pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties and to helping them to successfully engage with learning.
· * Have proven experience of successful positive behaviour management skills, particularly with regard to children with additional needs.
· * Be flexible, highly motivated and creative with excellent interpersonal skills.
· * Be ready to work in an established multi- disciplinary team with a range of professionals.
