Required from September 2024 we are seeking to appoint a technician to provide comprehensive support and become an integral part of our successful Creative Arts Team.

This is an exciting time for the Create Department as we have recently moved to a new location within the academy campus and are looking for someone to help us continue the growth and development of the creative practices and facilities at Coombeshead Academy.  You will need to be a highly positive, team player as well as having the confidence to use your own initiative to ensure necessary resources are available for students and staff for the delivery of all lessons including Art, Craft & Design, Photography & Digital Media, Fashion Textiles, 3D Design & Ceramics and Graphics.

Skills required include technical curriculum support, maintaining a safe, hygienic working and visually exciting environment, ability to oversee the activities of students (under instruction of teaching staff in the department). There will be responsibility for resources, ordering materials and equipment. Work may also take place outside the main teaching area including our new gallery, workshops and trips that feature in the calendar.
