Bricklehurst Manor School is a brand-new independent special educational needs school which will cater for up to 60 pupils with SEMH and associated needs.

Job Description:

 

Are you passionate about sparking creativity in young minds? We are looking for a Creative Teacher to bring innovative ideas to our classrooms. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver elements of Design & Technology, Art and/or Music.

The ideal candidate will be able to deliver elements of Design & Technology, Art and Music. You will design engaging lessons, utilise cutting-edge technology, and create an inclusive environment where every student can thrive.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Relevant Teaching Qualification in Education 
  • Previous experience working with young people with additional SEN needs is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of students with diverse needs.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to changing priorities and support the individual needs of students.
  • Experience of teaching Design & Technology, Art or Music
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion, equality, and diversity within the school community.
  • A willingness to participate in training and professional development opportunities related to SEN provision and best practices.
  • Experience with creative teaching methods 
  • Strong communication skills
