We are seeking an exceptional colleague to join the Leadership Team at this outstanding inner city girls community school. EGA is a vibrant multicultural community where colleagues are committed to raising achievement and aspiration. We are located in an inspirational building with the most up to date facilities.

Although the actual responsibilities will be decided on individual strengths, the successful candidate must:

  • be able to assist the Headteacher in maintaining and developing the high standards of education at EGA in accordance with Governors’, LA and national policies.
  • be able to deputise for the Headteacher when required making informed, well-judged operational decisions as needed
  • be able to inspire and get the best from others
  • to take up a high profile around the school
  • be creative, innovative and energetic
  • have proven leadership experience and the potential to develop further
  • to have experience within pastoral work
