DEANESFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL

 35 hours a week, term time only plus 5 INSET days

Scale 5, points 12-15: £25,193.61-£26,373.89 per annum (actual salary).

(We are happy to consider a 0.8 FTE contract for the right candidate) .

We are looking to recruit an experienced EYFS key worker to join our vibrant, warm, and caring early years provision where the heart of the child always comes first.

We have a highly dedicated and supportive early years team who are eager to welcome and support a new member. We are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing but most of all has a passion for working with young children.

We value our hard-working staff and are committed to offer ongoing support and training, as well as great opportunities for career development. Many of our key workers have progressed onto QTS training programmes and graduated as fully qualified teachers.

 The successful candidate must be:

*       Approachable, patient and understanding

*       Resilient and positive, showing initiative and flexibility

*       Experience of working with children between 2-5years old

*       Confident in supporting a child in building their early social and language needs.

*       Have high expectations and a secure knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.

*       Experienced in delivering evidence-based interventions

*       Excellent communication skills

*       Have a good sense of humour and effective team player.

*       Creative and able to use creativity and initiative around the nursery.

*       Able to act as a positive role model to children and other staff, kind, happy and willing to go the extra mile.
