Early Years Practitioner (Leader of Two-Year-old Provision).

Tes is currently supporting a friendly and supportive primary academy, based in Bradford. The school is looking to add an EYFS Practitioner to its progressive and supportive primary team ideally starting  ASAP.

The role will include supporting and innovating alongside a growing team of Early Years practitioners ensuring the Academy is at the forefront of innovation in the Early Years education space. You will know the EYFS curriculum and framework requirements and will work with the team to ensure provision fulfills expectations and supports learners to achieve to the top of their potential.

“The EYP Leader will work to a Key Worker system and be able to give direction and specialist advice to provide care and Education through the provision of stimulating enjoyable and constructive activities appropriate to the Child’s age and abilities to ensure physical social emotional and intellectual development, taking into account diversity (eg. language, culture, ability, race and religion). The EYP Leader will work as part of a team in assisting and consolidating the provision of a high quality Early Years curriculum to establish, develop and promote good relationships and high expectations with both the children and their families, through home visits (when possible) and in a pastoral role for a group; taking account of parental concerns, offering appropriate advice guidance and dealing with them sensitively under direction of the teacher where necessary The Leader will assist and support colleagues advising on creative strategies in order to ensure the smooth running of the setting, and contribute to relevant meetings and may from time to time be required to undertake other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility defined in this job description.”

The school expects:

• Maths and English GCSE Grade 'C' or above 

• Ideally a level 3 Early Years NVQ qualification

• experience supporting a multi-disciplined EYFS team

• experience innovating and delivering EYFS curriculum and knowledge of EYFS frameworks

• and ideally a love and passion for education.
