The role

We require an early years practitioner to help us deliver a safe, secure, caring and supportive environment, providing opportunities to foster their growth and development within our Early Years’ department. 

All Alpha Plus schools benefit from being well resourced, with up to date technology and a modern learning environment, lunch is provided on site and we offer a generous occupational pension, training and development opportunities an employee assistance programme and a supportive and caring environment to work.  

This role is full time (40 hours per week) covering 44 weeks of the year, which includes working outside of term time. You will be entitled to 5.6 weeks holidays per year, pro-rated, to reflect your 44 week year, and to be taken outside of the 44 working weeks.   

The School

Falcons School for Girls provides independent education from three to eleven years. The school offers a traditional nursery – year 6 girls’ school education, with outstanding preparation for 11 + examinations.

It is a warm and caring school, taking great pride in developing our girls into happy, confident individuals ready to meet the challenges of their senior schools. Falcons Girls have a reputation for academic excellence, creativity and a love of learning. They have high expectations of our pupils with learning tailored to individual needs. The pupils win places at the country’s top Day and Boarding schools in the 11+ examinations at the end of Year Six, and leave Falcons School for Girls as resourceful, self-aware and inquisitive girls.

The Alpha Plus Group

The Alpha Plus Group seeks to deliver the gold standard in education. Although we encourage every one of our schools to have its own distinctive ethos, the group also has common aims and values. We want to see strong leadership in each of our schools and we provide training and support to the Heads and their Senior Management Team in order for this to happen.
