The overarching vision of The British Academy School Marrakech – BASM - is to bring the best of British Independent School education to Morocco. To help fulfil this vision, and uniquely so to Marrakech, our teachers are recruited having completed their teacher training in the UK. English is their first language, the first language of the school, and the English National Curriculum provides the framework for teaching and learning.

BASM is a young, modern, international school, underpinned by traditional values of respect for the democratic process in its varying forms, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs. The school is non-denominational.
