Salary: M1 – M6, depending on experience

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Primary Teacher. This is a mainscale job, however, experience and evidence of an excellent track record of results will be considered for any successful candidate. 

Applicants will be required:

·        To offer all children an effective education in a stimulating environment, which provides equality of opportunity for all with high expectations of every child and every activity the school undertakes

·        To deliver the National Curriculum and other relevant initiatives as determined by the school

·        To work in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies

·        To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.

We place a great focus on staff development, at all levels with an extensive programme of professional development which offers a whole range of opportunities for colleagues’ development.

About Abraham Moss Community School

Abraham Moss Community School is a mixed, mainstream, non-denominational all-through school in Crumpsall, Manchester and is a part of The Dean Trust. It caters to students aged between three and sixteen and has approximately 1,653 pupils enrolled.

Abraham Moss Community School was founded in 1973 and was named after Abraham Moss, who was Lord Mayor of Manchester from 1953 to 1954.

Teachers strive to develop creativity, resilience, employability skills and positive engagement with the wider community.

Abraham Moss Community School prioritises literacy and numeracy skills. It also promotes the spiritual, moral, social and cultural aspects of education through PSHE and Citizenship, as well as RE. Arts and sports are provided to ensure a more rounded education for each child.
