EYFS Teacher

The Headteacher and Governing Board of Bare Trees Primary School wish to appoint an excellent, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to join our team.

Applications are invited from passionate, innovative practitioners, keen to develop their teaching and inspire our children to be Brave Aspirational Resilient Equal, Together Respectful Enthusiastic Enriched and Safe.

We are looking for:

• An excellent classroom practitioner who has experience of working in Early Years;
• a highly-motivated teacher who will develop an exciting and imaginative learning environment in which pupils will achieve their full potential;
• an effective team member with high expectations of themselves and their pupils;
• a drive to improve outcomes for all pupils;
• willingness to initiate contact and links with external agencies for the benefit of our pupils and their families;
• up to date knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies and Early Years pedagogy;
• an understanding and experience of teaching EAL pupils;
• a willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.

Bare Trees Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; pre-employment checks will be carried out, references will be sought and successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and other relevant checks with statutory bodies. 

The school will carry out an online search as part of their due-diligence for all shortlisted candidates in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023 (para 221).

To allow the Headteacher to assess your suitability for the post, you are asked to take part in the following: 

• A lesson observation. Time and date to be confirmed;
• A suitable task to be confirmed prior to the interview;
• An interview with the Senior Leadership Team.
