The States of Guernsey are looking for a Head of Digital, Data and Information to join the team at The Guernsey Institute College.


The Head of Digital, Data & Information will oversee strategic and operational all digital initiatives at TGI, focusing on stabilising TGI college infrastructure, addressing immediate application fixes, and ensuring data integrity and protection across TGI entities, ensuring alignment with the institution’s vision for excellence.


They will lead the development of communication tools, website solutions, and email systems while collaborating with stakeholders to integrate systems and align with the college's strategic objectives, contributing to the overall vision and strategic plan within The Guernsey Institute (TGI).


The Head of Digital, Data & Information is tasked with leading strategic initiatives for improvement, ensuring alignment with the institution's vision for excellence. Through effective leadership, they foster a culture of continuous improvement. As a key member of the College Leadership Team, they play a pivotal role in representing the institution externally and contributing to its overall success.

Job Description

 

This role comes with a competitive salary, progressive annual leave and entitlement to a pension scheme. 

 

For candidates who would be required to relocate to the Bailiwick of Guernsey, we also offer a relocation package to help with the cost of moving over to the Island. This relocation package offers different solutions depending on an individual’s circumstances.

This role offers off-Island candidates an 8-year Long Term Employment Permit (see details below). This permit will also enable candidates to bring immediate family members with them who will be permitted to work on the Island in any sector. There are also good schools on Island for those candidates looking to bring their families with them.
