Shirley School serves a culturally rich and diverse community located in the north east area of the great city of Cambridge. We are a school of many strengths and we value inclusivity, kindness and a determination to succeed. Both our last Ofsted inspections in 2010 and 2014 judged the school to be good and we aspire to be outstanding. Our greatest assets are the people of the school, the children, staff, parents and governors. Our modern and well-equipped buildings are less than 10 years old.

We are looking for an experienced Headteacher, or a Senior Leader ready to move up a level, to continue to drive up standards by improving our pupils’ personal, social and academic achievements, to maintain our high standards of safeguarding, and to nurture and develop our pupils so that they can engage in, and contribute to, the world around them.
