Summary

We are currently looking for innovative, inspiring and experienced HLTAs to work at our primary schools. We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong background in SEN. The role will be varied and will involve providing support to pupils, individually or in groups, to enable them to access the curriculum and experience a sense of achievement. If you are thinking about a career in teaching, we are keen to develop from within so this could be an opportunity to move forward with your aspirations.

Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm.

Weeks per year: Term time (39 weeks’ contract) plus optional weeks (6, 8, 10 or 12) during the school holidays.

About Us

In this multi-cultural school community, pupils are well-behaved and motivated with good discipline and supportive families. The staff team is creative and enthusiastic and has been providing a high standard of innovative education over the course of the lockdown and since.

The school is part of a successful Multi-Academy Trust. Routines and collaborative working are embedded in our practice, but we constantly seek to improve our work and thus seek energetic innovators. The Trust welcomes staff and pupils from all faiths while operating within a Christian ethos. We are firmly committed to staff CPD at all levels.

Our schools are based in a quiet setting in the heart of the Isle of Dogs in Tower Hamlets, yet close to Mudchute and Island Gardens DLR and central London. The school works long days, balanced by shorter terms.
