Full time permanent position, term time only, (39 weeks)

Opportunity

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Housekeeper to join our expanding team; working alongside our School Business Manager to aid the smooth set -up and successful running of our new SEN school. 

Playing a key role in the set-up of a Brand-New School; this is an exciting opportunity to join a new venture in a school that will grow with you. It is an opportunity for you to help shape the provision and develop the school to be the best that it can be.

As our Housekeeper you will be responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of all furniture, fixtures, and fittings in all internal areas of the school.

 

Key Duties

  • To be responsible for cleaning
  • To respond to incidents during the school day
  • To use and abide by a daily, weekly and monthly check lists
  • To report and maintenance issues to furniture, fixtures and fittings
  • To comply with all safeguarding, H&S legislation, regulations and policy

Skills and Qualifications

Successful candidates are likely to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience as a Cleaner or Housekeeper
  • Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
  • Customer-oriented and friendly
  • Prioritisation and time management skills
  • Working quickly without compromising quality
  • Experience in supporting in the care or education industry
  • Desirable an understanding of working with people with a disability
