HR Administrator

Kettering Science Academy requires a professional and self-motivated HR Administrator to join our business and finance team. The post holder will support all aspects of HR and recruitment processes at the Academy. The successful candidate will work with initiative and have previous experience administering HR information in a timely, accurate and confidential manner, have a high level of proficiency in Microsoft applications and have excellent interpersonal skills.  

 The successful candidate will:

· work closely with the Principal to ensure the Academy complies with all relevant legal and regulatory frameworks

· be a first point of contact for all staff at the Academy in relation to HR and payroll queries

· liaise with our HR service centre, Education Personnel Management

· provide support to senior colleagues on a broad range of HR matters including, but not limited to, disciplinary, grievance and absence issues 

· manage the recruitment process for all new colleagues

· develop and implement effective administration processes, maintaining accurate records 

The ideal candidate will possess:

· up to date knowledge and understanding of HR best practice and procedures

· relevant HR experience (ideally in an education setting)

· confidence in the interpretation of policy and employment law and its application

· excellent oral and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal skills

· a high level of diligence and attention for detail
