Job overview

Up to 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year; fixed term until July 2022

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about SEND to join our evolving Inclusive Learning Team, to work as part of a cross-college team to provide learning session cover and/or supervision of groups in a variety of circumstances either face to face, online or virtually. 

The role will involve supporting individual students, or groups of students to complete work set by the tutor, tracking and monitoring student progress, contributing to the planning of sessions, monitoring absence and underperformance, and working collaboratively with learning support colleagues to ensure students with learning barriers can progress as effectively as their peers. 

The successful candidate will be an approachable, organised individual with great communication skills, together with experience of working in a role that supports individual learning needs, with the ability to think creatively and adapt your approach accordingly.
