Reigate School would like to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and committed English Intervention Tutor to join our oversubscribed school in Reigate, Surrey commencing on 1 September 2024. The role would involve developing innovative learning interventions tailored to meet the needs of individual children, and effectively planning and teaching intervention lessons that support children to meet their full potential.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • hold a level 2 qualification in English (or equivalent);
  • have excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • be able to help plan and deliver a range of interventions;
  • be committed to high expectations for achievements and behaviour; and
  • be able to work effectively as part of a committed and inclusive team.

This is a term time role working Monday to Friday from 8.15am to 4.15pm, 35 hours per week (excluding a one-hour unpaid lunch break), 39 weeks per annum. The FTE annual salary is £24,977 - £26,886, pro rata annual salary of £20,890 – £22,487.
